COVID Updates

PSCC continues to follow CA state COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. Hours of club operations and reservation requirements remain the same. Looking forward to relaxing protocols as the county/state permits. Thank you for your continued cooperation!

Upcoming Events:

  • Stroke Clinic 2021-Members Only
    Classes Start 3/29-4/30
  • PSST Penguins 2021 Summer Registration-Members Only
    Registration opens 4/1/21
  • Bathroom Flooring Update
    Our bathrooms are getting an update. New flooring is being installed on Monday, 4/5 – Wednesday, 4/7. Bathrooms will be closed, but portable restrooms will be available in between the clubhouse and bathroom building.
  • Junior Lifeguard Prep-Members and Non-Members
    Classes continue 3/29 -5/6. M-F 6:30-8pm* and Saturdays 7:45-9:15am. Registration is closed.
    *One lane available for member swim; no lap lanes available. Reservations required.
  • Huntington Beach City Junior Lifeguard Testing:
    Tryout #1 Saturday, 4/10-Cancelled at PSCC. Check City of HBJG website for new location.
    Tryout #2 Saturday, 4/24-Cancelled at PSCC. Check City of HBJG website for new location.
    Tryout #3 Wednesday, 5/5 6:30-8:30pm (evening tryout) at Pacific Sands Cabana Club**
    **Pool unavailable for member use during tryouts.

Member News:

Stroke Clinic - Members Only

Stroke Instruction is a class offered to all members of the PSCC and highly recommended for all swimmers that plan on competing with the PSST Penguin summer swim team. The class is geared towards improving swimming skills in all of the strokes. Classes are divided into age groups from 4-18 years old and based on summer swim team eligibility (age on 6/1/21). Classes start 3/29/21.

PSST Penguins 2021 Summer Registration - Members Only

Pacific Sands Swim Team, is a member only, summer competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities from 4-18 years old. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to CIF competitor. Registration starts 4/1/21.

March 29 – April 30
3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday*

JG Prep Classes

March 1 – May 6
Monday – Friday 6:30-8:00 pm *
Saturday 7:45-9:15 am
No classes week of 4/3 to 4/11 due to Spring Break.
