Here Comes Peter Cottontail!
Bring your Easter basket for an Easter egg hunt, bring your appetite for donuts, coffee, milk, and juice, and bring your cameras/smartphones for photos with the Easter Bunny.
The Easter egg hunt will start with toddlers around 10 am.
- Toddlers start around 10am
- 10:08am 3 – 5 year olds
- 10:12am 6 – 7 year olds
- 10:15am 8 – 10 year olds

Penguins Swim Team Registration {.null}
Registration Opened March 1, 2015 on the Penguins website.
Registration fees until March 31st:
$185 for the first child, discounts applied for additional swimmers
Registration fees starting April 1st:
$200 for the first child, discounts applied for additional swimmers
The registration cost for all high school swimmers is $35 for the summer. A great deal! The only age requirement is to be a high school freshman this past year. High School swimmers do not have to be a Cabana Club member. They will also need to be approved by the Head Coach.
NOTE: Every swimmer must be a member of Pacific Sands Cabana Club with the exception of high school swimmers. There will be a $5.00 non-refundable charge for each registered swimmer if you register and drop the team before starting practice.
All payments are made to the Pacific Sands Cabana Club (PSCC) at the office. Payments are due once you have registered to be approved to the team.
There are NO refunds of registration once the team starts practice on May 4, 2015.
JR Guard Prep Classes Have Started
Regular Sessions continue March 30th (week 2):
- Session 1: Monday-Wednesday-Friday 6:00pm – 6:45pm
- Session 2: Monday-Wednesday-Friday 6:45pm – 7:30pm
Session 3: Saturday-Tuesday-Thursday
Saturday: 9:00- 9:45am (Except March 28-start 9:30am -10:15am)
Tuesday- Thursday: 6:00pm – 6:45pm
There will be no available lap lane for members during these periods.
Stroke Clinic Registration Open: Almost Full
- Session 1: 3:30 – 4:30 pm (Silver-Strong)
- Session 2: 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm (Gold-Advanced)
- Session 1: 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm (Bronze Beginners)
- Session 2: 4:15 pm – 5:00 pm (Bronze Beginners)
- Session 3: 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm (Bronze Intermediate)
Sessions will cover 4 weeks of instruction. There will be a break for the Easter holiday (April 6 – April 11).

Saturday April 4: Lifeguard Season Begins {.null}
A lifeguard will be on duty on weekends beginning Saturday, April 4th through the end of the summer. A lifeguard will be on duty daily during Spring break (April 4-12). All parents are asked to review pool, deck and diving board rules with their children (including not to hang on the lane lines). These rules are posted on the wall behind the diving board.
Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their children’s safety and that “When no lifeguard present, Children under the age of 14 shall not use pool without a parent or adult guardian in attendance”. This is state law.
Tennis Academy Program
Registration is underway in the Cabana Club office or at the tennis courts for the Spring Tennis session which started on March 23, 2015. The Spring sessions will end in mid-June. There are sessions planned for both youth and adults. Sessions will run for 12 weeks. There will be no classes on Memorial Day.
The schedule is posted on our website under Activities>Tennis.
Tennis Pro, Lynn Monroe, offers drop in tennis lessons on the weekends that are confirmed with Lynn in advance. Classes are held on Saturday from 1:00pm – 5:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Lessons are available for youth and adults. For more information or to schedule a lesson please call Lynn at 714-883-0919.
Tennis Court Reservations

Please call the Club Office at 714-536-8091 to reserve a tennis court. The reservation schedule is now posted (current week and next week) on the club office window near the entry gate. Calling ahead will ensure that courts are available as scheduled.</p>

Please update credit card information if you get a replacement credit card for the one that is on file to ensure timely payment of your membership dues. Reminder: Dues are payable on the 1st, late after the 15th, and membership may be cancelled on the 30th for nonpayment.
Also, incidental expenses (like membership assessments) cannot be charged to this card without your authorization.
Parking Lot Safety {.null}
Drivers are not allowed to stop at the entrance to parking lot or chain-link fence to let out children near front gate! This creates a safety hazard for our children and risk to cars attempting to enter parking lot from Atlanta Ave. This is an accident waiting to happen. Please, no parking or stopping. A fine of $50 will be assigned to those drivers observed breaking this rule. Be safe, and please drive through the driveway and park in the lot.
