Jr. Lifeguard Prep Class Starts

Available at PSCC this spring! Thank you Coach Carley for running the program again this year.

The Jr. Lifeguard Prep Class is a four-week long program designed to prepare your swimmer to pass the requirements for the HB City Jr. Lifeguard and HB State Jr. Life Guard testing.

Schedules for 3 sessions

Prep Class schedule will include 12 practices for all M-W-F and T-Th-Sat sessions.

Prep Class schedule for Monday/Wednesday/Friday:

Starts: Monday, March 23, 2015 Ends: Friday April 24, 2015

Session One from 6:00 - 6:45 pm (week 1: 6:30 start time to 7:15pm)

Session Two from 6:45 - 7:30 pm (week 1: 7:15 start time to 8:00pm)

Prep Class schedule for Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday:

Starts: Saturday, March 21, 2015 Ends: Saturday, April 25, 2015

Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00 - 6:45 pm (week 1: 6:30 start time to 7:15pm)

Saturday 9:00 - 9:45 am (Saturday, April 25th is added to make up for April 18th when Huntington Beach City Junior Lifeguard tryouts will be held at PSCC)

There is no practice for the Easter holiday break, April 6th through April 11th.

Cost of program

Members of the club may sign up immediately - Non-members may sign up Monday, February 16th 2015. We are limited to 90 swimmers. (30 in each session)

• Member fee is $100
• Non-member fee is $140

This is not a “learn to swim” class. Swimmers must be able to demonstrate the freestyle stroke. Forms are available at the club office.
