Junior Lifeguard Preparatory Class
"JG Prep" is a 12 class session offered to both PSCC members and non-members. Each class is designed to help improve the swimming skills and physical conditioning needed for safely participating in a local junior lifeguard program. This class will assist new junior lifeguards, ages 9-17 years old, in meeting the minimum requirements to qualify for a JG program or help returning junior lifeguards to get in shape for all of the summer’s aquatic activity. Classes begin in March.

Pacific Sands Cabana Club is Hiring Lifeguards for 2019
Pacific Sands Cabana Club is accepting applications for part-time Lifeguards. Lifeguard applicants must hold the following certifications by first day of work:
- Lifeguard Certification
- CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer
- First Aid
Applicants must be 15 ½ years of age by March 31, 2019 and MUST be able to work most weekends & holidays starting in April through September 2019. Part-time weekday/evening hours will also be available after elementary and high school's close for summer break.
Applications are available in the front office of the Cabana Club between 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. or online on our website [click here for form].
All applications must be submitted and received by Monday, March 4, 2019.
Huntington Beach City Junior Lifeguard Tryouts and Marine Safety Officer Re-Qualification
The City of Huntington Beach will be using the pool for HB City Junior Lifeguard tryouts and Marine Safety Officer Re-qualifications starting in February - June. The pool will be unavailable for member use during these dates and times.

Billing information
As a reminder, the Cabana Club does not bill members automatically for dues and assessments. Each member is responsible for paying in a timely manner. Payment of dues and assessments is a condition of club membership. They are due on the first of the month. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged to an account that has not been paid by the 15th of the month. Thank you for your prompt payments.
All members with Automatic Payment authorizations on file are asked to contact the Cabana Club office to update credit card information if, and when, cards are replaced. Current information will ensure successful processing of membership dues without interruption. Someone is in the office every day to update credit card information.
Membership Cancellation
All cancellations require a 30-day notice in writing and will be effective from the next billing date (first of the month). We do not prorate the month based on the date of notice. Member is responsible for all dues or other payments until the effective cancellation date. When membership is cancelled, there will be a one year waiting period before you are eligible to be a member again. Reinstatement of membership after waiting period requires payment in full of all interim dues, late charges and assessments.
Parking Lot
It is very important to follow the rules when entering and exiting the Cabana Club parking lot. The proper way to enter is off of Atlanta Avenue and exit on to Schooner Lane. Please avoid stopping at entrance when dropping off swimmers and pull ahead to a marked parking space. This will help ensure the safety of everyone.

Surf City Aquatics Club
SCAC practice will continue through March 2019.
Practice times are:
- Monday - Friday 4:00 - 6:30 pm **
Please remember to pull forward to a designated parking space when dropping your children off for swim practice. DO NOT stop in the entrance.
Water Aerobics/Aqua-Tone Classes
Aqua-tone classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 am
Members pay $5.00 per class and non-members pay $9.00 per class.
No Lifeguards on Duty
There are no lifeguards on duty beginning in October through March. If you are planning a deck party and need a lifeguard, please contact the Cabana Club office and we will schedule one for your party. Contact office regarding Lifeguard fees.
Lane Lines
The lane lines and roller are property of the club purchased for organized swimming programs where they can be supervised and handled by trained staff. Lane lines are not always available for lap swimming nor is guaranteed due to risk to equipment mishandling and possible personal injury of members. Thank you for your cooperation in refraining from handling the lane line equipment.

Tennis Lessons
Private, semi-private and group lessons for all ages and abilities are available. Drop ins are always welcome. Contact one of our outstanding tennis pros for classes and lesson times.
