Cabana Club Lifeguards
Pacific Sands Cabana Club is accepting applications for part-time Lifeguards. Lifeguard applicants must hold the following certifications by the first day of work:
- Lifeguard Certification
- CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
- First Aid
- Work Permit (for students under 18)
Applicants must be able to work most weekends and holidays from April through September 2025. Part-time weekday/evening hours will also be available after elementary, middle, and high schools close for summer break.

The Pool will close at 9:00 p.m. for the winter.

- City of Huntington Beach Lifeguards
- Saturday, February 1st, 8:00-10:00am
- JG Prep through February 24th
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday 6:15-7:00pm
- JG Prep hours starting February 17th
- Monday-Friday 5:45-7:45pm & Saturday 7:45-9:45am
- Cabana Club CMAC
- 2/1-2/13 Monday -Thursday 5:00-6:15pm.
After 2/17, Monday -Thursday 4:30-5:45pm
- CMAC Masters Swim
- Monday-Friday 5:45-6:45am**
They will be using 3 lanes

Club Reminders:
GUESTS: Club Members, please stop by the office and check in your guest before entering the club. Guest fees are $5 Mon-Thurs. and $8 Fri- Sun. and Holidays, and there is an additional fee for club-sponsored events. Any visitor who comes through the gate and stays is considered a guest and must pay the guest fee. The Guest fee increased on 10/01/2024. Thank You!
Out of courtesy to your fellow members, some reminders, please…
Do not stop and drop off your family at the entrance. Please pull into a parking spot. This is very dangerous! Cars entering can’t see you, and we would like to avoid an accident or injury.
No glass is allowed on our pool deck, including reusable glass water bottles.
If you are planning a deck party or a gathering of members, please check with the office about the date and time you request to be added to our calendar and fill out a deck party request form. We need to know your plans so the office can plan staff accordingly.
Children wearing floaties need an adult poolside at all times to monitor them.
Small children not entirely potty trained must wear a disposable swim diaper with a reusable swim diaper over it. (Members will be fined if their child has an accident without one)
Reminder for supervision of children: Parents must review pool, deck, and diving board rules with their children and guests. Rules are posted behind the diving board and on our website. Children under 14 are not allowed at the club without an adult present. Children 14 years and older and unaccompanied by adults are expected to follow all pool rules. Children in floaties need an adult to be with them in or on the pool's edge, ready to jump in if necessary.
MEMBERSHIP DUES/LATE FEES:
Membership dues are due on the 1st of every month and are considered LATE after the 15th. A late fee of $25.00 will be applied to an account that has not been paid by the 15th.
Tennis News:
Tennis Court Reservations
For reservations, you may email the club office at manager@cabanaclubhb.org on Mondays after 10:00 a.m. from Tuesday through the following Monday. Confirmation will be sent. Currently, pre-booking is limited to one court per week per group. You can book an additional court by calling up to two days in advance.
Tennis Lessons
Private, semi-private and group lessons are available for all ages. Contact one of our pros for classes and lesson times.
