A Message from the Executive Board
Most of us will enjoy the warm weather this summer by swimming or lounging by the pool or hosting a family BBQ or playing a game of tennis. We want these activities to be fun, enjoyable and safe for all.
We would like to remind our members of a few very important Club Safety and Standing Rules:
- NO GLASS CONTAINERS of any kind anywhere on the deck area.
- DO NO BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY by parking or stopping within the entrance of the parking lot.
- NO LITTERING please. Check the area you were sitting at and make sure your AND your children’s trash is disposed of properly.
It is the responsibility of everyone using the pool area to be aware of Club rules and expectations and respect the lifeguards authority. Parents PLEASE be respectful of Club lifeguards and staff as they work very hard to keep all of us safe by enforcing all club rules. We would like to remind our members of some very important Pool Rules and Regulations:
- NO ROUGH HORSEPLAY is allowed in either pool or on the deck.
- NO RUNNING on the pool deck.
- LIFEGUARDS ARE IN CHARGE OF THE POOL and enforce the rules. They are here to ensure the safety of the pool and deck area. The lifeguard has the authority to keep kids out of the pool for infractions of the rules.
Discipline for swimmers not following rules:
Infraction 1: Correction/warning
Infraction 2: Sit out for 5-10 minutes
Infraction 3: Sit our for 30 minutes, and may be removed for the remainder of the day
Infraction 4 or serious behavior issues: Swimmer will be written up on a behavior contract and the contract will be given to the board.
