Here Comes Peter Cottontail!

The Easter Bunny is making a special stop at the Cabana Club on Saturday, April 4, at 9:30 am!
Bring your Easter basket for an Easter egg hunt, bring your appetite for donuts, coffee, milk, and juice, and bring your cameras/smartphones for photos with the Easter Bunny.
The Easter egg hunt will start with toddlers around 10 am.
  • Toddlers start around 10am
  • 10:08am 3- 5 year olds
  • 10:12am 6 – 7 year olds
  • 10:15am 8 – 9 year olds

Sorry…this is a “members only” event.

Penguins are Coming!

Registration Opened March 1, 2015 on the Penguins website.

The season starts on May 4th after the “Sinko de Mayo Party” to July 26th with the “End of Season Party”
Registration fees until March 31st:
$185 for the first child, discounts applied for additional swimmers
Registration fees starting April 1st:
$200 for the first child, discounts applied for additional swimmers

The registration cost for all high school swimmers is $35 for the summer. A great deal! The only age requirement is to be a high school freshman this past year. High School swimmers do not have to be a Cabana Club member. They will also need to be approved by the Head Coach.

NOTE: Every swimmer must be a member of Pacific Sands Cabana Club with the exception of high school swimmers. There will be a $5.00 non-refundable charge for each registered swimmer if you register and drop the team before starting practice.

All payments are made to the Pacific Sands Cabana Club (PSCC) at the office. Payments are due once you have registered to be approved to the team.

There are NO refunds of registration once the team starts practice on May 4, 2015.

Register Early! There are a limited number of openings on the team and once the team is full registration will be closed!

JR Guard Prep Classes

Registration is expected to close this week as all spots are almost filled.

Huntington Beach City Junior Lifeguard program tryouts will be held at Pacific Sands Cabana Club.

The Junior Guard registration and sign up information will be available at the prep classes.

Swim Aide Recruitment is Underway!

Applications are available now in the Cabana Club office for the Swim Aide position. The minimum qualifications are:

  • Minimum 15 years of age
  • Swim Team experience
  • Must be available to work weekends, evening, and various weekly shifts.

The swim aide position is assigned to the Pacific Sands Swim Team.

Executive Board Meeting Reminder

The next monthly Executive Board meeting will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 7 pm in the clubhouse. Come find out how the club is doing financially and what lies ahead for the club in 2015.

Please Update Credit Card Information

Automatic Payment Members: Please be sure that the Cabana Club office has all current credit card information if your card has been replaced due to an information breach or has expired. This will ensure that your membership dues are processed successfully and up to date. (Dues are payable on the 1st, late after the 15th.)

Clubhouse Door

The clubhouse door is now locked on the recommendation of the Health Department during a recent routine inspection of our pool. At the time, the Health Department advised the Club that there must be a self-latching door to prevent free access to the pool area. All members are encouraged to use their gate codes and to enter the clubhouse from the pool deck.

Non-members should be received at the gate by their tennis and swim instructors.
